Dragonfly Fragrance

Hello all (possibly for the second time today).  Yes, I know... we're double hopping again - May has just been that kind of month, but I couldn't turn down a chance to guest with the Fashionable Stamping Challenge.  Sorry!

Just a quick heads-up that I'm over at Our Creative Corner today with a creation using products from our generous sponsor this month, Crafty Individuals.

Here's just a little sneak peek preview... I'd love it if you had a moment to pop over and check it out.

And if you missed today's earlier post - the Parfumerie Collection for my guest spot at Fashionable Stamping Challenges - I hope you might have a few minutes to take a look at that too.

As it chances, I also used Crafty Individuals stamps for this project... how's that for serendipitous timing?!  You don't have to go far, you can see it right here at Words and Pictures.

I just wanted to thank you all so, so much for your amazing feedback and support.  I can't tell you how much it means, especially given I've been in a bit of a slump.  (I know there's lots to see here, but almost all of it was done before coming away... I've honestly been struggling to get anything finished for the last few weeks - other than dollshouses of course!)  This crafty journey simply wouldn't be the same without you, so thank you.

Imagination is everything.  It is the preview of life's coming attractions.

A hopping bonus... anyone who wants an update on some of the changes at Small Worlds, check out Cestina's Dollshouses.  I'll be filling you in on the houses I've been doing soon...

Oh wow Alison, both the sneak peeks look amazing already, so will check them as soon as I've finished writing this. Look forward to the D'houses and will check Cs blog too. How lucky it's Sunday morning and I have time for it all. Your CJ (creative juices) I'm sure will come back, so much talent can't just disappear off the planet....

I'm off to see all in a second, but I just wanted to say, Alison, it's a privilege to join you on your crafty journey. Your work is always inspiring and usually a slump means that all kinds of amazing ideas are germinating: it won't be long until brand new projects are lifting their heads towards the sun! I'm sure all kinds of wonderful things are working away under the surface, generated by this present Dolls' house phase! Julie Ann xxx

Perhaps Mr Mojo just decided to have a little holiday so that you could concentrate on the doll's houses AND you did a huge amount before you went away, that must have been tough too! Don't worry, he will be back!

I love your CI project, it has a very ethereal look - just beautiful. Anne xx

I don't think Mr Mojo has gone very far - he's just up the road in Small Worlds, working very hard indeed.

Two fabulous projects Alison, really awesome... I've long read the first one today from my work, I find your tag absolutely wonderful, the shimmering of the dragonflies is just perfect!!! And the vintage bottles are great too as you know. Don't know how you succeed in doing all that... - even not all at the same time of course! :) - Managing your blog and your blog DT's ones, with wonderful detailed posts, creating even more fabulous things, being so much supportive for the others, and in addition helping your mum on - I guess - a mammoth and tremendous work!!!!! I'm totally in awe!!! Hugs, Coco xx

Hang on in there, I'm sure the doll's houses (and your Mum) are appreciating the care you are taking right now. What you did before you went away is still inspiring even though to you they are not new to you! I am on catch up as my single parent son has just had a minor op and it's all hands on deck! Take care, Chrisx

Love the altered bottles and how gorgeous are those dragonflies! Such pretty colors and softness! I am sure your slump is just your being so busy with the dollhouses and making sure all is perfect! Relax and enjoy! Hugs!

Wow truly stunning tag, I love the way you have done the dragonflies, the shimmer is gorgeous. I still get in awe of when using shimmer how moving the card makes the whole thing change. I have just bought some silks, they are amazing. I initially decided on them after seeing one of my favorite You Tube artists who I follow (Rach0113). I lurrrrve the ribbon, definitely must try thst lol. I could look at the perfume collection all day that you made, truly unique and fabulous. :-) Kezzy xxx

Smelling the roses is an essential to life Alison.
I have appreciated you zipping into my blog every now and then as I have been struggling with finding creative time - 10 litres of paint doesn't really cut it!
Now I am off to look at what you have finished.
Looking forward to seeing what you dream up while on your break.
