Matchbox Poetry

Hello all... thanks so much for dropping in.  After my Winter Journal I, we're continuing the wintry theme, but it's just a sneak peek here at Words and Pictures.  I'm very happy to be over at the PaperArtsy blog tonight, with some Matchbox Poetry for you.

I hope you'll have a moment to hop over to PaperArtsy to see what I've been up to.  I'm still going with my daily journalling (early days yet, I know), so I'll see you again soon, either here or elsewhere in Craftyblogland.

Each of us is born with a box of matches inside us but we can't strike them all by ourselves.

I've just seen this project at P.A. it is stunning. It looked quite abstract in its early stages but it ended with all your special artistic touches.

What a delightful collection of matchboxes providing windows into a wintry world of cold and snowy magic. I love how you created the beautiful sky and swirling snow scene then added the stark contrast of Seth’s tree. Of course your splatters and fabulous words finish it off beautifully. Love it xxx

Seriously, what a fabulous and original design! LOVE all the stacked match boxes and how the scene is perfect in each one. I'm sure it was a bugger to make but oh so fun too.
