Hopping Mad!

Hello and welcome all.  For the second time this week, we're double hopping here at Words and Pictures.  I've a double helping of sneak peeks for you, with invitations to hop off and visit me elsewhere in Craftyblogland!

So, in no particular order, here are your hopping options for today...

I'm over at Calico Crafts with a project combining some of my favourite things: books, meadow flowers and crackle.

It's very much a creation of two halves - the inside is quite different from the outside.  Is that enough temptation to get you to hop over to Calico and take a look?!

If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea, what about heading over to The Artistic Stamper to see my latest creation for them - gentle, romantic and very vintage!

Go on, why not hop off and check it out at the Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog?!

Lots of you have been asking whether you'll get to see what I'm up to with the dollshouses.  Answer: yes, definitely - but probably not until my time in the Czech Republic is up, at the end of May. I'll be working right to the wire, so the "after" photos won't be done until the very end.  But in case you weren't around for it, and curiosity is starting to kill the cat, you can get an idea of the kind of thing I'm doing if you hop along to last year's dollshouse round-up.

So hopping mad it is... Hope you hop happily, and I hope to be hopping around in Craftyblogland over the weekend too!

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

BLC x 2 - Your first piece is gorgeous Alison, I love the contrast between the subtly coloured & textured shabby outside and the beautifully decorated inside. Your second piece, delicate, beautiful, is a wonderful combination of text, imagery and gentle stencil work. Two fab projects at once, such a treat! Chris xxx

Wow Alison two awesome makes, the tag is so soft, the muted colours are beautiful especially as stencilling and the stamps you used are gorgeous. The book box is mega amazing, the vintage style front with the crackled flower flourish is awesome and then the pop of colour as you open the book to reveal and send you into the middle of nowhere with blue sky, green grass and wild shrubs, a perfect place to read a good book :-) Kezzy xxx
