Hello all, I'm over at the PaperArtsy blog this evening with some Shades of White for their current inspiration theme. I decided to see if I could work with contrasting white...
There's not a lot of contrast available between shades of white, so the resulting pair of tags are pretty subtle, but I rather like them. If you have time to hop over and check them out, I'd love to know what you think.
Thanks so much for stopping and hopping, and I'll see you again soon.
White. A blank page or canvas. So many possibilities.

The tags are gorgeous, love the subtle shades of white and the vintage look. Have a nice evening, hugs, Valerie
I have just been over to see your beautiful tags. I do love the contrast in the whites and you have created such wonderful textures. Anne xx
I love the white on white. They are very pretty Alison. hugs-Erika
I was in a color round robin one year (we started this right after True Colors was published and got such great reviews), and the hardest color for me was white. Unlike you, I didn't use a lot of paint, which I think would have been much harder. Instead, I used mostly paint chip samples and images from magazines. I have to applaud you for these incredible tags you have created using paint, and the amazing texture you got from the crackle and the embossing powder, too.
oooh love the cream on white. Can't wait to head over to Paper Artsy :)
Got to love shades of ..... I have always been a fan of this kind of work!

Stunning! Love the paints you used. XXO
An interesting experiment... I agree with you the Vanilla embossing looks a lot less white against white! Never knew... Personally I can see the white EP on the Heavy Cream background a lot better than the Vanilla EP on white. Either way I love the Vintage/Distressed look of both tags.
Beautiful tags Alison, you do white so well! xx
Both tags are really deliciously white with subtle splatters of gold, full of delicatessen... I LOVE them. xxx
Thank you for the step by steps over on the blog and what magical and glorious creations and loving the shades of white x.
These are really pretty, so delicate. It's amazing how many shades of white the are isn't it. Have a fun week, Sue xx
It always amazes me how different whites can be. Similarly with black. I love white on white and this has shown it perfectly - a great post over on Paper Artsy's Blog. So very delicate and pretty.
Hugs, Neet xx
