A Calico Romance

Hello all!  Thank you for putting up with my catch-up posts lately, bringing DT projects into the Words and Pictures fold.  I'm happy to say I have something new to share with you today but I've only a sneak peek for you here.

If you'd like to know who's waiting under the lamppost attracting men like moths to a flame, I'm afraid you'll just have to hop over to Calico Craft Parts to find out.

I've finally got some spaces in my schedule so I'm looking forward to doing some catching up of my own around Craftyblogland, so I'll hope to see you out there.  Have a wonderful week everyone!

Underneath the lantern, by the barrack gate,
Darling I remember the way you used to wait.
'Twas there that you whispered tenderly,
That you lov'd me, you'd always be
My Lily of the lamplight, my own Lily Marlene.
From the English version of Lili Marlene, translated by Tommie Connor

I've had a look over at Calico Alison - this is wonderful, especially that lovely crusty crackle. (Not sure why crusty came to mind, maybe its the bakeoff!) The calico parts look terrific. Nicola x

My heart be still--Another lovely creation with a charming backstory, Alison :) :) Completely love everything about this tag--from how you built up your background to the embellies of those lovely butterflies, flourishes and that grand lamp post! So romantic and pretty!! Fab creation for Calico Craft Parts!! XOXO-Shari
