Calico Tin Can
Hello all - sorry about the dull post title. I was trying to come up with clever word plays on Tin Pan Alley and Tin Can Calico, but somehow it wouldn't come together... so I'm just here with a simple sneak peek to try to tempt you over to see my latest make for Calico Crafts.
After the mammoth post of my last Calico project, the Sugar Maple Pear Trees, I've something altogether simpler (and shorter!) for you today - a bit of "upcycling".
Do hop over for a look - I hope you like it... and I hope you all have a lovely weekend. I'm having a weekend away with friends, so I don't suppose there'll be much blog-visiting but I will come and catch up with you all soon!
Life is rather like a tin of sardines - we're all of us looking for the key.

A wonderful way to recycle a simple, empty, tin can. Love the idea of the three different coats of paint--must try that for sure

Been over and come back to tell you I love it - works so well with those paints (GORGEOUS colours) and just love the hessian netting. Would sit very nicely on my desk for my pens - since my recent tidy up I am using an old coffee jar - I must try your project. Nikki xx

I have to say that I rather like these "shorter" posts by you. Sometimes I get lost in all the words, studying them like I would for an exam. Whew, I like the cliff version better.
Your tin can looks amazing! I really like the altered heart! Who knew vaseline could help make something so pretty!!
Love this repurposed can Alison. Very Shabby Chic :-)
TFS and hugs Annie x
