I've always been a massive fan of the White Fire Treasure Gold - hands down my favourite colour of gilding wax ever - and now it exists as a paint, metallic sheen and all. Colour me happy!
(If you saw my Head in a Book recently, made before the paint existed, you'll know how much simpler life would have been if I'd had some of this stuff then!)
This is the first of a couple of projects using the paint, and I hope you'll be able to hop over and check it out.
We should be just about to put on the third of the shows in Beijing as you read this - all being well - and I've workshops all day tomorrow, then it's off to Shanghai on Monday, so it's appropriate that my ATCs should be travel themed, I guess. Hope you're enjoying a great weekend everyone, and see you soon.

I was lucky enough to receive some of the new paint recently and yep, the white fire is a brilliant addition. The sneak peek looks very tempting already, off for a closer look.
Hope your adventures continue to go well, it all sounds like the trip of a lifetime!
Just been over for a look at the full reveal Alison, both have such depth to them with the embossing and clever use of colour.
Hope you have a good weekend.

'Travel and change of place impart new vigour to the mind.'Your great quote today and is hopefully true for you. Also hope your body can keep up with your mind.
Love as always Chrissie xx
Hope Beijing is going well, Alison. I too always liked white fire gilding wax best and have been salivating over the idea of a paint!

Fabulous and delightful!
Wow loving the effect this paint gives. Just got mine but not used it yet. I love the effect with the distress sprays. During your post on one of the steps you said white gold instead of white fire. I completely agree it reminds me of white gold. Richer then silver. Kezzy :-) xxx
Sounds like you are on an amazing trip. Off to read more about this wonderful ATC.

Wonderful!!!

It looks so gorgeous Alison, Like a wonderful piece of old stone, with moss and rust ,in between the "worn" places. So beautiful, with the white fire paint , I`m sure I need one of them :-)

The texture is so beautifully and I have my eye on the paint as it is one of my favourites from the Treasure Gold range. I love how the light catches theh ATCs.

I love the texture and interest that can be achieved with dry embossing, Alison, and these two ATCs are perfect examples! Great use of inks and water, pairing well with the White Fire!
Beautiful layers and gorgeous texture!
Somehow this sneak peek of your ATCs made the background embossing look like oil rigging. Indeed, where have you been traveling to?!
