I've always been a massive fan of the White Fire Treasure Gold - hands down my favourite colour of gilding wax ever - and now it exists as a paint, metallic sheen and all. Colour me happy!
(If you saw my Head in a Book recently, made before the paint existed, you'll know how much simpler life would have been if I'd had some of this stuff then!)
This is the first of a couple of projects using the paint, and I hope you'll be able to hop over and check it out.
We should be just about to put on the third of the shows in Beijing as you read this - all being well - and I've workshops all day tomorrow, then it's off to Shanghai on Monday, so it's appropriate that my ATCs should be travel themed, I guess. Hope you're enjoying a great weekend everyone, and see you soon.

I was lucky enough to receive some of the new paint recently and yep, the white fire is a brilliant addition. The sneak peek looks very tempting already, off for a closer look.
ReplyDeleteHope your adventures continue to go well, it all sounds like the trip of a lifetime!
Just been over for a look at the full reveal Alison, both have such depth to them with the embossing and clever use of colour.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend.

Fabulous and delightful!
ReplyDeleteWow loving the effect this paint gives. Just got mine but not used it yet. I love the effect with the distress sprays. During your post on one of the steps you said white gold instead of white fire. I completely agree it reminds me of white gold. Richer then silver. Kezzy :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are on an amazing trip. Off to read more about this wonderful ATC.
ReplyDeleteYvonne xx
Wonderful!!!

I love the texture and interest that can be achieved with dry embossing, Alison, and these two ATCs are perfect examples! Great use of inks and water, pairing well with the White Fire!
