Bell, Book and Candle

Okay, there's no bell but there is a book, and a candle too.

Hello all, I'm delighted to be over at PaperArtsy again this evening as part of their new look.  We're playing with Fragile Papers this fortnight, so my project involves tissue paper and book pages (no surprises there, then).

And no surprises that I'm still looking for illumination in these dark January days... so there's candlelight involved in my altered book as well.

I hope you'll be able to hop over to PaperArtsy and have a look - there's a brand new Lynne Perrella stamp involved if you need further temptation!  And if you're inspired to play along with some fragile papers of your own that would be wonderful.

Stay warm and happy crafting!

I love this! As I love candlelight, you had me at the title, but it just got better and better. What a beautiful way to use that stamp, and I love the book chamber. Thank you, as always, for sharing your inspiring creativity! xx Lynn

Stunning, Alison!! OK-you've used the title of one of my very fav Jimmy Stewart movies (I love watching that around Christmas time) so, I just had to dive into this creation :) Oh, you said there's no 'bell'...sure there is...there's a 'belle'...the woman!! :) :) I love everything you've put into this and the glow of the candle makes this simply magical!! XOXO-Shari

Oh my gosh! Does the light from the candle actually glow through the book? That's just amazing and potentially hazardous (especially if I'm nearby).
