Journey Journalling

Hello all!  Yes, the passport arrived with the visa in just in time, and so later today I should be on my way to the Big Apple!  If I remember to take some photos, I'll share my "minimal" travelling stash with you at some point. I couldn't get it down to less than about a quarter of the suitcase - but who needs clothes?!

It's been a pretty hectic time here, and I've been living on a bubble of anxiety for several weeks... but now it's time for that to change to bubbles of positivity.  The adventure begins.

Over at The Artistic Stamper today I'm sharing some journalling done in the midst of the chaos, when I just needed to be gentle with myself.

But looking at it today I can suddenly see that it's all about the butterfly taking flight, off into the wild blue yonder... so how appropriate that it turns out to be due for posting today!

I hope you'll have time to pop over and take a look.  I always love to hear what you think.  And once I'm safely landed and settled in, I'll be able to get back in the swing of some proper visiting in Craftyblogland.

Have a wonderful Sunday everybody!

Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.
Leonardo da Vinci

If God had really intended men to fly, he'd make it easier to get to the airport.

Hope you have arrived safe in New York Alison, so exciting to know your Adventure has begun, do enjoy every breathe and every step...

Your journal pages are stunning, love the combination of colours and the coffee/tea stained tags are awesome. Can see why you needed the grass.

I can imagine laying down under this sky and seeing the clouds turn into tag shapes with your text and words on them floating by reminding me how amazing your ArT is.

Have fun, meanwhile thank you for such spectacular inspiration:-) xxx
