The time of the falling leaves

Hello all!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  I'm here with a sneak peek, just letting you know about my arrival at Destination Inspiration over at A Vintage Journey today.

The travel bag is packed with wonderful things this month, and if you hop over there you'll see what I got up to with them.  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week everybody.

Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore. There is always something to make you wonder in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.
Albert Schweitzer

If you don't mind hopping to see the full project, I'd love to share this...
... at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where they'd like to see Not A Card
... at Stamping Sensations where they are celebrating Autumn Glory
... and at Country View Crafts where they are looking for Mixed Media with Autumnal Hues

  6. Scrumptious! And it occurs to me that corrugated card treated like that could make an excellent wood pile in winter.....xx

  19. Just had a peek at the whole thing and it really is gorgeous. I love the autumn colours and the natural feel to it with the real pine cones. I love the sisal fibres too, they add such great texture and I have to admit to having a bit of an obsession with them, I have to stop myself adding them to everything!! You've done a fab job here - LOVE it!

  20. Absolute effortless beauty here Alison. Love the crackle on the corrugated cardboard background. And I don't know how you do it, but you manage to use just the right amount of stain. I have not mastered that technique yet :) It really made an amazing leaf-debris stained background! I think the thing that I love the most here are the berries. For me they evoke the last sweetness of summer and they provide the absolute perfect pop of color. I was comparing them in the photos of pre-frost and post-frost. Just like salt wakes up natural flavors in food, the spritz of frostiness woke up the colors of those berries in overall composition. I love it!!! Honestly, just gorgeous. Congrats on your over at SSS Monday Challenges! So well-deserved my friend. Hugs -- ME
