Hello all! I'm delighted to be here this evening with a sneak peek of some of the newest stamps available from PaperArtsy. The gorgeous vintage illustrations of these Scrapcosy designs are right up my alley, and I've been having a wonderful time playing with them.
I hope you'll have time to hop over to the PaperArtsy blog to catch all the details of my collection of "vintage" postcards. There are some that are perfect for these summery days, and some looking ahead to the spookier times to come!
If you missed my birthday blog candy, just pop a comment here to be included in the draw - there are two prizes on offer this year so you've double the chance of winning.
And keep your eyes peeled in a few days time for one of my most exciting bits of crafting news ever!! There's more than one reason it's been quiet around here lately...
The secret to so many artists living so long is that every painting is a new adventure. So, you see, they're always looking ahead to something new and exciting. The secret is not to look back.

Lovely postcards, Alison! I'm like you and prefer the brown ink. Love your watercoloring around the images. Now what water colors are you using that become permanent when dry? I thought all watercolors would be affected by any type of wet media? Anyways, gorgeous pieces and so glad you're finding time to be crafty whilst in NYC. Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I love your postcards. When I saw Raquel's new stamp release I ordered the mushroom set straight away, I love all the Scrapcosy sets. Back to the beautiful postcards - well done you, they showcase the stamps perfectly.x
ReplyDeleteLooking great from here, so off I go.....
ReplyDeleteI just can tell you that I LOVE each and every of your samples Alison, be in black, or in sepia and brown shades as more usual for you.
ReplyDeleteThese stamps are gorgeous, how lucky you are to have them! :-)
Well, more seriously, I will also remember what you say about the watercolours paints... Happy to learn that they can not ruin the layers behind, once dry. I didn't know, I don't practice enough with my watercolours though I'd love to. I hope I have time this summer to play with them and experiment more...
Thank you Alison for you your precious advices always, and your wonderful samples. xxx
Totally gorgeous samples Alison and you've inspired me to start using my brown Archival ink too for a change!!

ReplyDeleteThese are beauties Alison. Fabulous stamps but it's the way you've coloured them that makes the difference. I like them in the brown ink, which is strange because I always seem to stamp in black! I can't wait to hear what your new is. Have a great week xx
ReplyDeleteYour designs and colour choices are brilliant Alison, I love every one of them xxx
ReplyDeleteJust popped over and seen the cards in their full glory - absolutely gorgeous. I just can't decide if I prefer the black or brown ink but it's so interesting to see the completely different looks you get just by changing the ink like that. They are all stunning.
