UPDATE: The draw is now closed. Thanks to all who took part.
Hello all and welcome. So glad you liked my Tim tag that I managed to squeeze in! I'm back tonight with an exciting post.
We're just a couple of weeks away from the big Ally Pally stamp show - Crafting at Ally Pally it's now called - and there will be lots going on at the PaperArtsy stand… including yours truly having another go at the demo table. I'm there on the Saturday from 12.15 - 2pm. Do drop by if you can. You might see one of these teaser tags in action...
There are Make and Take sessions which you can sign up for, as well as a full programme of demonstrators all day Saturday and Sunday. For the full details check out the PaperArtsy blog this evening. There are also some fabulous sneak peeks of what everybody's going to be up to on the demo desks.
These are just some little sneak peeks of my demo-ing plans. If you want to see the whole tags you'll just have to come to Ally Pally (oh, okay, I'll probably share them here at some point too!).
I'm in a Hot Picks frenzy with the July release and some even newer stamps (there's a really naughty sneak peek here if you look carefully!) and new paint colours.
And I've been playing with the PaperArtsy glazes too. Think bright colours, vintage images, gloss and matte resists and finishes, metallic shimmer and of course my favourite - crackle!
Even better, I've got a pair of tickets for the show to give away, courtesy of PaperArtsy. All you need do is mention in your comment that you'd like to be in the draw and I'll pick the winner in a week's time, next Sunday.
That should give them time to get to you in the post by 19th/20th September. I know this is only any good for those geographically and temporally able to visit Ally Pally - but I'll be having another giveaway soon - with some of these samples in the mix - so keep your eyes peeled.
And that's not all you need to keep your eyes peeled for... it's another BIG PaperArtsy week this week. I'll be back before you know it, and you'll want to keep a close eye on the PaperArtsy blog all week - lots of excitement for you.
In the meantime, don't forget to mention in your comment if you'd like to win the tickets, and good luck everyone! I hope I might see you at Ally Pally...
Far and away the best prize life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.

(But free tickets to the Crafting at Ally Pally show are pretty good too!)
well If I'm not there, I'll be in trouble... looking forward to watching you demo.. although that may make me even more nervous! Great samples, btw.
ReplyDeleteThese glimpses are very tantalising. Visitors to the PaperArtsy stand are in for a treat!
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased for you Alison to be demoing at the show and only wish I could come and say hello. I am sure you will be perfect for it. Sorry I have been a bit absent lately but I am about to return to college next week after 20 years out!! I am studying theatrical costume design for the next two years but still hoping to keep my blog going and show all my work!! Hope everything is ok with you and good luck!

ReplyDeleteLove your sneak peeks, your demo's will be great. Its such a shame I live so far away from the venue, this sort of show never comes to the N.E. of the UK [Roman Wall country}

ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen a 70 year old woman pulling on her hair and screaming with her whole might! Those two free tickets need to include round trip air tickets too. Oh Alison, how I would love to be there - see this beautiful work and meet you in person. Tell Astrid that Edinburgh is a lot closer than Florida. Look at all the people that are going. It is such a pity that I can't be there too! Oh woe is me ......
