Peace in the Garden
Welcome all!
It's been a bit frantic around here lately what with all the fantastic PaperArtsy releases (I was involved in the New Paint, the new Darcy Eclectica, and the new Lynne Perrella launches - do check them out if you missed out - plus all the other action is over at the PaperArtsy blog too), not to mention a new Vintage Journey challenge.
So I thought it would be good to have some peace and relaxation today - over at The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog. Of course, it's not that relaxing, since there are exciting New Stamps on offer at The Artistic Stamper too. Yup, it's all new, new, new!!
But the set I've used for this tag are gardening stamps, so at least you'll get a breath of fresh air and a bit of exercise (or not - gardens are also good for sitting in with a book, I find!).
Do hop over and take a look - I always love to hear what you think. I'm actually away for a few days doing various lovely things - but I'll be back to play again soon.
The greatest gift of the garden is the restoration of the five senses.

Alison, love your water color effect background.....and the stamps, including that "extra earth" which you've used to such great effect. And also love your recent pattern of circles floating upward in your work. How great that you had (and remembered no less!) that you had these lovely little bits for this piece. They remind me of the oxygen that earth and plants need to flourish. Not that I actually garden - I am a garden enjoyer mostly. Thanks for the reminder of Spring, soon to come! xx Lynn

Wow really loving this tag, I so love the way Distress works, just adding the water and ink on a block and stamping with it gives such great depths of colour. Awesome. Happy Art :-) Kezzy xxx
ReplyDeleteLove those stamps. My dad had the best vegetable gardens. He had so many rusty tools hanging up on the side of our garage. That's what I thought of when I saw this tag. -- ME
