Getting messy...

Hello all, I've been getting messy with paints and inks creating backgrounds using one of my favourite techniques - and it's all for your delectation over at A Vintage Journey.

If you'd like to come along with me to Destination Inspiration, you know what to do... that's right - hop over to take a look!

It's been a full-on start to June... a new Design Team for me, and lots of new challenge themes starting up.  Since they only had about 5 seconds to themselves, I'd like to just flag up a couple of my inspiration projects for a couple of those challenges.

Just click the link to visit if you missed seeing A Manly Beginning, my debut project for Country View Challenges and their Only For Men theme.

And there's also the Flaming June challenge at Our Creative Corner, and you'll find that here at Nothing Rhymes With Orange!

There, that ought to keep you busy for a while!

I should be arriving home today... so it's unpacking, restoring the travelling stash to its place in the craft room, and then I'm free to come and see how June is for you so far!

Spring being a tough act to follow, God created June.

  6. Well done on your new DT place, great tutorial to start things off from, can't wait to see what you make. Like Chris says in her comments I don't know how you do it all and at a consistently high standard, you must have a cast iron mojo! Or be much better organised than I am lol

  19. You say you've been getting messy with paints and inks but how is that different from any other time???!!

So many projects going on! How do you have time for it all? Have you cloned yourself? That's the only logical explanation I can think of.

  24. Thanks Alison for an awesome tutorial, I really must/definitely going to try this. It's only recently that I have started playing with distress paints and the Father's Day card was a real eye opener. Definitely going to play more, it's like my canvas today, normally fresco would be out but it was distress paints lol :-) Kezzy xxx
