A touch of Calico

Hello all...  Thanks so much for stopping by - but you needn't stay long!

In fact, I'd love it if you'd hop off straight away to the Calico Crafts blog, where I'm offering up a new Design Team piece today.

This one was just lovely to make, from beginning to end... hope you enjoy it even half as much as I did!

There's also a new challenge starting today at Our Creative Corner, hosted by the fabulous Jenny, a.k.a. Buttons.  I didn't have time this month to create an inspiration piece, but my brilliant team-mates have offered up more than enough to get you going if you hop over there and take a look.

Keep love in your heart.  A life without it is like a sunless garden where all the flowers are dead.
Oscar Wilde

Apologies all... link to Calico now working!!

  1. I do like those meadow grasses. The hanging is lovely. We call those umbel like flowers Queen Anne's lace over here. What is the quote from? I haven't heard it before. A beautiful gift, I like the splatters, too.

  2. The quote on the hanging, I should have said. The "pray you love, remember".

  15. Apologies for not mentioning it: "Rosemary, that's for remembrance" is part of Ophelia's mad scene from Hamlet. I should probably go and add that in to the Calico post.. thanks for pointing it out, Marci!!
