PaperArtsy Encore!
Hello everyone! I'm delighted to be putting in the first of what will (all being well) be regular guest appearances over at PaperArtsy.
And this make's a bit different for me... somehow things got very glossy (and therefore almost impossible to photograph!).
I hope these little sneak peeks have whetted your appetite - if you'd like to see more, then hop over to PaperArtsy for the full experience.
There's more exciting news here at Words and Pictures tomorrow, and it's going to be a busy few days... so I'll hope to see you again soon!
Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know how great you can be! How much you can love! What you can accomplish! And what your potential is!

ReplyDeleteI've just taken a look. A fantastic hanging in great colors.
ReplyDeleteThat is incredibly shiny looking indeed. The words look like they are floating inside all that gloss on the bottom picture. Very curious indeed. Love the colors and the elements you've used here.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really fab Alison so off to view the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteFliss xx

Alison, one of the best project! read all steps at Paper Artsy. I always get amazed to see how different techniques you create and use!

I can just imagine your heart was in your mouth when you restamped the words Alison! The UTEE effect is fab.
ReplyDeleteI've seen and read all Alison, another stunning start as new Guest DT again, congrats and so well deserved!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration once again! I'd love having time to play on PA blog with you as you can imagine, but I will not have enough time this week so sorry... I'm hoping now over on your next post to read the remaining (good?) news and another fab project I guess!! Hugs, Coco xx
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and the high gloss!

I love your colors! A beautiful piece of art!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful projects and i love them all, this one is no exception. Thank you for sharing the process!
ReplyDeleteI'm not used to seeing 'shiny' from you, but you did a fabulous job! I especially like how you managed to take a blurring of words and create a gorgeous shadow instead! Creative genius!
ReplyDeleteOh my ... I just got an impressionistic flashback when I started reading your PA blog. That stippled paint background that you made is awesome ... especially with the UTEE over top. Great color choice for the 'bare spots'. The rusty hinge, gathered twigs and vintage photo combo really framed the plaque nicely. I adore the stamps!! Such a fun piece Alison! -- Mary Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteWow I really love the embossing shine, an amazing awesome piece, I love the stamps you used, mind you I love any paperartsy stamps lol. I loved the process as well, the background you made is gorgeous and the embossing makes it all pop. Kezzy :-) xxx
