A little peek...
Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for your amazing comments on the final flurry of Funkie Junkie tags, and thank you for your well-wishes. I'm still hacking away like a 90-a-day smoker on occasion, but so much better than I was, thank you!!
It's sneak peek time once again here at Words and Pictures... this time with a photo that I hope will encourage you to hop over to The Artistic Stamper to take a look.
After some false starts, lots of changes of direction, and heart-stopping moments when I decided it had all gone horribly wrong and I should just chuck it in, it's turned into one of my favourite makes... whaddaya gonna do?!
Hope you like it...
They always say time changes things, but actually you have to change them yourself.

ReplyDeleteHello there.cwe're paying long overdue visits to blog friends. We love the colours on your project and your tags were all beautiful as usual.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous project Alison so glad your didn't "bin" it. So often I have a project that just look right so instead of the bin I now put them in my bit box and usually find I can salvage all or some of it at a later date....not always though!! lol

ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing, off to look at the AS blog. Glad you're starting to feel better.
ReplyDeleteJust hopped over to TAS and back here, to let you know how terrific I think your canvas is, Alison!
ReplyDeleteSometimes, when our project takes the lead, it feels as if something went wrong - but it only feels like that as long as I fight and try to force things. Once I let go and follow what is there already - everything turns out just great! (well, most of time *giggle).
I can see why this is one of your new favourites. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that background with its own universe in it.
Hugs,
Claudia xx

Oh wow!! I loved this journey. I am enthralled by the harlequin pattern in the background (so glad you clear embossed it and that it lasted through the color spray blitz :) ) It really anchors this piece and from the photos, it looks like concrete paving stones in someones garden. For me, its the perfect backdrop for that gorgeous kraft tag. Alison ... love where your new year's creativity is taking you :) -- Mary Elizabeth
