Create? I am creating!

Hello all!  I'm back with yet another sneak peek... yes, it's one of those busy weeks here at Words and Pictures again.

For those not up to speed, you might want to catch up with my three PaperArtsy projects - A Study in Scarlet, If I Had Wings, and the frankly crazy Dolls Houses...  Or there's this fortnight's piece for Fun With ATCs, Around the World in 80 Stamps (very cute, though I do say so myself)... Or even a (shhh) Christmas Card over at Artistic Outpost if you fancy it!

But here and now, it's time for a return to normal service... blues, greens, corrugated card and glorious meadow grasses for my Artistic Stamper creation today.  I would love it (if you're not already exhausted from the pace round here) if you had time to pop over to the Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog and have a look... It's probably my favourite make of the week if I'm perfectly honest!

Anyway, enough from me.  I hope you're all thriving and having a wonderful week, and I'll see you soon, either here or elsewhere in Craftyblogland.  But first, I'm off for a little lie-down...

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.

  1. Your hanging is gorgeous Alison with very calming colors. I think I know why you like this so much - in the middle of all the hustle bustle of moving, you sit down and make the statement "I am creating". I believe you were smiling when you put those words on this pretty hanging.

  9. Amazing ! Seems like the more you do the better the projects get. Must say I adore this last piece with the textured background and the little bird.

Love the quote--I sat on a rickety, wooden bench in the middle of a wood the other day and it certainly wasn't time wasted at all :)

    Have a wonderful day Alison

  25. Wow wow wow went on over to comment and have a closer look. Alison this has to be my favourite as well, it's the background and those flowers, it's almost like you used a printed tissue, but you stamped them and coloured them and they are out of this world stunning. The corrugated card background is also awesome. Hugs :-) Kezzy xxxxxx

  27. Thank you so much for the lovely load of comments on my blog, Alison!
They came just in time and brightened up my day - as I am not too well at the moment (having hurt my side and ribs rather badly and still not able to move without pain).

There's sunshine over here today (in real) but the sun started shining for me yesterday evening when I read your wonderful messages! Thank you so much :))

Hope you are doing well and are (almost) done with moving so you can again enjoy a lot of creative time without any deadline pressure!!!!

    Big hug,

    Claudia x

  28. Hm...thought I had already commented on your hanging as I definitely recall it having caught my eye... well, I'll do it now: there's on lot on that lovely make that makes your artwork so adorable to me - your colours and their translucency with tender traces of texture underneath - the sublte stamping with which you create a lot of depth and that "Alison-corrugated card" Oh my! Never can get enought of it!

    Hugs again,

    Claudia x

  31. Alison, dear, how do you find the time to create all these marvellous pieces? My head is dizzy from visiting you on all these blogs to find everything in detail...
And then you are still in moving houses? Oh my, what an energetic woman you must be... But it suits you judging by your always different, individual pieces of art!
Have a nice and pieceful evening, dear Alsion!
