Guest Designer for The Artistic Stamper
Hello all! I'm absolutely thrilled and honoured to be Guest Designing for The Artistic Stamper this month... you could have knocked me down with a feather when the email pinged into my inbox before Christmas, and it took all of about a second to say "yes, please"!
I can only share a sneak peek with you here at Words and Pictures, so I do hope you'll be able to pop over to the Artistic Stamper blog and see what I've been up to.
Let's just say I'm quite sad I already gave away the blogpost title Butterfly's Butterflies a few weeks ago to a mere tag...
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun
And find your shoulder to light on,
To bring you luck, happiness and riches
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
Irish Blessing

Wow! This is the best pic of the lot. Great colors, bet they really shimmer IRL!
ReplyDeleteSensational Alison! Can't believe that you manage to think up so many wonders for us to share.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing how you made it
Love Chrissie xx
Just come from the Artistic Stamper blog, Alison, and can only reiterate what I posted there: gobsmacking!:-)
ReplyDeleteWell it is easy for all to see why you were asked to be Guest Designer Alison..... superb work and wonderful descriptions as ever! Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteThis one is beyond belief beautiful. Even your much-put-upon brother (all his female relatives crafting and blogging in one form or other) is taken with it.
ReplyDeleteNo photo can come close to doing it justice and watching from the spare room window as you tried to take them in the freezing cold the other day was an entertainment in itself.
And the whole thing - creation and photos - is a major tribute to your skill and persistence....
Hi Alison, I just spotted this on the Artistic Stamper blog. Absolutely amazing work, exquisite and delicate and beautiful colours, a real masterpiece. xxx
ReplyDeleteAlison, this is spectacular! It reminds me of one of my favourite places to visit, the Butterfly Conservatory, where they flit around just like this and I am in awe of their beauty...just like this. The engineering of this piece boggles my mind and then when I factor in the artistic side, it leaves me speechless.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing work of beauty...I wish I could see them for real, dasing in the wind in all their shimmering lovelyness.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, dear Alison.
