Dream Big

Hello, thanks so much for stopping by today.  I'm offering up a canvas created just for fun today...       And I really did have so much fun with this one!

It's created on a canvas board (10 x 8 inches), so it's a nice hard surface for working on, as well as being inexpensive, so there's no great pressure to "get it right".  So I basically messed around with my favourite paints and inks and stamps and stencils and pastes and tapes, and here's what I ended up with.

All my current usual suspects are here as ingredients...

Fresco paints (mainly the turquoises!) - check.

Vintage Photo and Gathered Twigs DIs - check.

Texture paste applied through a stencil - check.

Stencilling with paint - check.

Tissue tape - check.  Torn and inked.

The gorgeous wooden flourishes from Crafty Emblies - check.

Stamping - check.  PaperArtsy numbers and letters providing some texture.

Some pale hessian burlap from The Funkie Junkie Boutique.

And there are some new toys and technique try-outs here too...

Finally I've cracked open my WordPlay die - I'm in love!

Music paper, Vintage Photo DI and Versamagic chalk ink.

Had a proper go at trying to make detailed roses with the Tattered Flowers die.

Book pages, Versamagic chalk ink highlights...

... and a couple of coats of spray varnish to protect them slightly.

And my new Inkssentials white gel pen from eclectic Paperie got its first little chance to come out and play, adding detail to the painty stencilling of the Tando Distorted Hive mask.

Thanks so much for stopping by to play today...  I'm also over at Artistic Outpost with a project today (here's a little sneak peek), so if you've time to hop on by, that would be wonderful!  Happy Tuesday, all...
