I'm travelling into a new way of working, a new country, a new language, and a new hobby which I'm passionate about. Come with me for some of the journey...

In the Pink

Hello all!  It's sneak peek time here at Words and Pictures - it feels like a while since we've had one of those.  I'm inviting you all to Destination Inspiration over at A Vintage Journey and, since the travel bags this month include pink as the colour, it's one of my rare ventures into that area of the spectrum.  It's not unknown for me to go pink, but it's pretty rare (I believe this one makes five times in four years), and it usually seems to get all flowery at the same time!

But I always enjoy it when I arrive in the pink zone, and I did this time too.  Perhaps I should do it a little more often?  In any case, I hope you'll be able to hop over to A Vintage Journey to see how my travel bag contents turned out.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you again soon... in fact, very soon I hope.  Since it's Monday, I'll be back later in the day with my next Simon Says Stamp Guest Design project - and I think you'll like it!

Almost all words do have colour and nothing is more pleasant than to utter a pink word and see someone's eyes light up and know it is a pink word for him or her too.
Gladys Taber

I'll eat rabbit pellets before you'll get me into something pink with ruffles.
From Murder Passes the Buck by Deb Baker

If you don't mind hopping to see the whole thing, I'd love to enter this in the following:
At That's Crafty Challenge Blog the current theme is In the Pink
And at Stamps and Stencils they're in the midst of a Floral Frenzy

I love seeing what happens when folks get out of their usual colors - something almost Jungian in the marriage between known and tacit strengths. I thoroughly enjoyed walking along your pink side through the previous posts - and looking at this sneak peek in more detail - lovely, and off to see more! xxx Lynn

It's pink! And vintage and lovely! With a wee touch of rusty wire so we don't question who really made it.

Hmmm, pink? Well I gotta get a gander at this. I am sure it is awesome sauce though. Okay, I had a gander and it really is awesome sauce. Wonderful rawness with the pinks and whites. The Browns set everything off nicely! You are so talented in any color! :) Hugz! ~Niki
