Follow the Fold!

Well... follow the sneak peek, in any case!

Guys and Dolls fans will now be humming irrepressibly as they go (apologies for that), but the rest of you are invited to hop over to The Artistic Stamper, free of earworms, to see the folded tag that's over there for your delectation.

(Sorry, I've written quite a lot of posts in a row now, trying to clear the decks in order to do my tax return - aaaaagh!! - and I think I'm losing it slightly!)

I think I'd better call it a day, and just leave you to be tempted over to see what unfolds (again, sorry!) over at the Artistic Stamper Creative Team Blog... hope you have fun!

You gotta know when to hold'em
Know when to fold'em
Know when to walk away
Know when to run
From The Gambler by Kenny Rogers

(Just in case the first earworm didn't get you.  I really think it's time for me to go now... I know when to run!)

Well, Alison, long ago when I was a young Drama teacher, I directed a production of 'Guys and Dolls' and every one of those songs has a place in my heart! It's a great show with some amazing numbers, so don't worry, it's not so much an earworm for me as a happy memory of some great kids acting and singing and having lots of fun! Now I think I'm losing myself down Memory Lane so I'll nip over to see what you've been up to! Julie Ann xxx

Such a foresty ish (?) card for your Mom. Lovely greens and wonderful stamping. Great idea tucking the flap under the metal foliage. Any Mom would be thrilled to receive a card made with love like this. Happy Birthday to her. Sounds like you deserve a rest!

I have just spent the most wonderful amount of time scrolling up and down and back again, looking at the glorious colors in your posts and the incredible photographs of the closeups and all the tiny little details. My eyes are dancing at the way you create and truly drive my hands and mind to want to create. I knew starting off the morning with you and coffee would be the perfect combination. :)
Have a truly wonderful weekend Alison and hugs to you.

Hi Alison,

I'm slowly but surely making my way to everyone's blog. It's Saturday morning. I have my second cup of coffee and I am settled back to enjoy one of my favorite blogs. Hope you are having a great weekend!

Love this card. What a brilliant idea to use the lower foliage as a closure! Fabulous colors too (the blue patina is such a wonderful shimmery addition. Katy's large flower and Tim's flourish are the perfect backdrop for your sentiment to your mom :) This combination of words and pictures truly made me smile. -- Mary Elizabeth

Oh, I love this! How smart to use the lovely metal flowers as the closure, and I love the hiding bug!

Thanks also for the education on earworms. One of my dearest friends is notorious for giving them to me and now I know what to call them!
