Picking favourites...

Hello everyone!  There's a pre-Christmas treat over at The Artistic Stamper at the moment.

The Design Team are taking it in turns to share their own personal top three Artistic Stamper creations from 2013.

These photos are not my top three, they're my "nearly made its"!

Imagine, Inspire, Create

I've only been on the team since May, but I was also a Guest Designer in February, so I still had plenty of projects to choose from.

If you scroll down to the labels at the foot of the post and click on "Artistic Stamper", you'll be able to see the full complement (unless there were some I forgot to apply the label to, of course!).

                                                                  A Place For Keepsakes

There were some real favourites that just didn't make the cut (that's what you're looking at here). Looking at them again now, I'd be perfectly happy with these as an alternative top 3!   Click on the links if you want to (re)visit these.

If you hop over to The Artistic Stamper you can see which ones I plumped for in the end.

Do check back over the course of the week (and a bit) to see what everyone else has chosen - there are some wonderful things to see, or to re-see!

Thanks so much for dropping in at this busy time... and good luck with all the final preparations, everybody!

In the Undergrowth

We don't need to have just one favourite. We keep adding favourites. Our favourite book is always the book that speaks most directly to us at a particular stage in our lives. And our lives change. We have other favourites that give us what we most need at that particular time. But we never lose the old favourites. They're always with us. We just sort of accumulate them.
Lloyd Alexander
(He's talking about books... but I think the thought applies here too!)

It must be so difficult for you to chose favourites from what you make. Your work is so varied and imaginative not to mention 'different and inspiring' -oops I just did mention those as well.

Always enjoy seeing your makes and your 'words'. It has me wondering what possible meaning for me my favourite book has. mmmm

Love Chrissie x

Funny, Alison,

I definitely would go for your "nearly made its" than the projects you finally chose (of course these are beautiful too ;).

Great choice over here and I loved seeing those pieces again.

Hugs,

I think it's hard to find just one favourite...you must have so many!
Just what you say: at that time, that moment, that feeling...:-)
So many....and we are able to see (and feel) them too Alison!

kind regards, Alie

Glad I didn't have to choose a favourite from your projects Alison as they are all inspired, have to agree with you that the butterfly hanging is special and you had sooooo much patience constructing it, but is was worth it.

Thanks for popping into my blog and leaving lovely comments, Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing your projects in 2014

It would be impossible for me to pick a favorite from your art. But I am really partial to your imagine, inspire, create. Just love everything about it. Merry Christmas and can't wait to see what creativity awaits in 2014. Love the book quote, too. So true!

They are all stunning projects Alison. I have no idea how on earth you managed to whittle down to only 3 as all your projects are Top 3 so far as I am concerned!
